"Stractor" Taki Fire
Improving the adhesive properties of unvulcanized synthetic rubber, the fusion between fabrics, and enhancing the tack of highly filled natural rubber compounds.
Many synthetic rubbers have lower tack compared to NR. Therefore, by adding tackifiers, the adhesive properties of uncured compounds and the fusion between compounds can be improved. Additionally, tackifiers are also used in so-called "dry" NR compounds with high filler content. Tackifiers require sustained tack during the stock of the compound, and a reduction in appropriate viscosity is preferred. On the other hand, they should not stick too much to the processing machinery or cause stickiness in the compound. Furthermore, it is necessary to consider waxes to ensure that appropriate tack is achieved. It goes without saying that checking the impact on the properties of vulcanizates, including aging characteristics, is essential.
